About me

I’m Sébastien Serre, an amateur photographer since 2019. My passion for visual storytelling began with cinema — I’ve always been captivated by films and even dreamed of becoming a movie director. This love for framing stories later led me to explore photography as a child, playing with my father’s Nikon D200.
The Covid pandemic reignited my creative spark, inspiring me to purchase my first own camera, a Nikon Z6 with a 24-70mm f/4 lens. Since then, I’ve been entirely self-taught, driven by curiosity and a desire to master the craft. Today, I’m more confident in my skills and eager to share my unique perspective.
I recently upgraded to the Nikon Z6 III, which has quickly become my creative companion. For me, every photograph is a search for the perfect harmony of aperture, exposure, focus, and ISO — each parameter a piece of the puzzle that brings an image to life. I refine my work in Adobe Lightroom, ensuring every detail reflects my vision and the stories I aim to tell.
